Out of my comfort zone - Bloomin' Beautiful

Here is a card I made the other day that is way out of my comfort zone. I used Bold Brights! I seem to look over these colors way too often. So I decided to do a card with them.

It's not too bright though. The card front is Gable Green. I stamped the flower using Black Stazon on watercolor paper. I colored it in with watercolor crayons and an aquapainter. I stamped it twice and cut out part of the flower and both leaves and popped them up using dimensionals.

I stamped the bee all over another piece of watercolor paper using Black stazon for the back piece but decided not to color those in. The sentiment is also stamped in Black stazon on watercolor paper. Everything is mounted to Basic Black.

I stamped the 'blossom' description stamp down the left side of the card front. I used the stamp-a-ma-jig to stamp it straight (sortof). That was stamped in Gable Green.

I tied a piece of pink gingham ribbon around the main image and it was mounted using dimensionals. The last thing was using the paper piercing tool and the guide to punch around the outside of the bottom piece. I didn't at first, but it needed something.

I hope you like this. Thanks for stopping today!

This card may be out of your comfort zone but it's stunning. I love it. I especially love the little bee. I haven't used him yet and I really should because I think he's so cute. Joan
