Paper Basket

I was wandering around on some blogs the other day and came across this one here and she had this interesting basket she has made using card stock. So of course I was in the right mood and had to try it.

This is what I made:

Well it was a little harder than it looked, but I kept going to see how I would do. I wanted to throw it away at least 5 times while making it.

It uses one sheet of 12x12 card stock to make the whole thing. I decided to use some retired brads and non-StampinUp! ribbon just in case I did throw it away.

I think if I made it again, I wouldn't use the glue stick because it takes too long to dry. I would probably use teeny tiny pieces of sticky strip instead to hold the pieces together.

Go check out the link above to the blog for complete instructions and give it a try yourself. It really is unique and fabulous how she took paper to make this basket.

Thanks for looking today!

Oooh, this came out nice! I did one too and I kept it, but I won't show it to anyone!!! Maybe I'll try it again sometime. It was a little challenging, but definitely worth the try!
