Sock Monkey Birthday and Mojo Monday sketch

I found a blog called www.mojomonday.blogspot.com that has a new card sketch every Monday. So I decided, in keeping with my New Years resolution, to use the sketch and make my nieces birthday card. Here birthday is in February. I love being ahead!

Here is the sketch...

...and here is the card I made:

I am using the Sweet Always DSP, which is not retiring, for this card. I love the pink and brown together. The scallop circle is cut using the Bigshot and the medium scallop die. I used the paper piercing template and tool on each scallop. The Regal Rose card stock is cut using the coluzzle. The sock monkey was stamped on Whisper White, Chocolate Chip and Tangerine Tango, cut out and pieced together. Same as the cupcake. He is mounted using dimensionals.

The words on the bottom are also from the Sock Monkey set. Each word was punched out with the 1/2" circle punch and layered on Tangerine Tango punched with the 3/4" circle punch and then onto Chocolate Chip punched with the 1" circle punch. These are also mounted with dimensionals.

This was a fun sketch. Give it a try!

Thanks for stopping today.
