Thoughts & Prayers

All day today I was over at my friend Jackie's house playing with all her new stuff. Oh did we have fun!! Here is a card I made using the Thoughts & Prayers set, the Stampin'Up! exclusive texture plates and the Stampin'Up! exclusive Mover's & Shapers Curly Label die cut for the Sizzix Bigshot.



She challenged me to use Eggplant. I really struggled with it, but perservered and got it done. And I have to say I'm very pleased with it.

The top part was textured with the small dots and the bottom vanilla piece was textured with the large dots which is very hard to see in the photo. I then ran a piece of Old Olive through the Bigshot with the die and cut a small strip to separate the 2 colors. But it still needed something. So using the new 5/16" vanilla brads along with one of the filigree designer brads it finished it off.

I colored the tree in using the Stampin'Up! markers; Old Olive and Close to Cocoa and stamped it so it could be seen through the 'window' on the front.
