Welcome to the first blog tour from the Klompenstampers group. Hopefully you hopped on over here from Jackie's blog, but if you didn't, then follow the tour and you will eventually get there.
Well for this tour I have decided to use the sneak peak stamp set called 'Awash with Flowers'. This set will be available starting April 1 and go until April 30 to purchase or if you host a personal creative session with me during this time frame, you can earn it for FREE!
This card is sort of a single layer card. The only layer I put on it is the white piece where I stamped the Thank You and the little strip of Crushed Curry at the bottom.
I just love this new stamp set. It is very easy to line up the images, but even if you don't it still looks great.
I used Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, Old Olive and Basic Black classic ink on this card, along with Melon Mambo Polka Dot ribbon.
The next card is a little different approach. I stamped the line image and popped the solid image up to give it a 3-D affect. I also added the Elegant Bouquet Embossing Folder image to it which I think looks great with the stamped image.
The cardstock used is Pretty in Pink, Very Vanilla, So Saffron and Mellow Moss. Pretty in Pink and Basic Black classic ink were used for the stamping. I used the Word Window punch to round the edges of the strips under the main image. Pretty in Pink taffeta ribbon was added also.
Thanks for stopping and be sure to come back tomorrow. Now on to the next stop of the tour - Jennifer Salgat's blog.
