Drum roll please...My First ever Quilt

I've sewn clothes before but have never attempted a quilt. So I was pretty happy with the way this turned out. Let me know what you think.

You can click on the pictures to get a closer look. I sewed the sections together the same as the rag bags with the seams showing. When I had it all sewn together, I used a pinking shears and trimmed all my seams. I really didn't want them to fray when I washed it.

I hope you like what you see and if you decide to give it a try yourself, I would love to see a picture. It was fun to make, but I don't think I will be making a lot of them in the near future, but you never know!

Thanks for stopping and I should be back to stamping here soon.

Nice!! your quilt is beautiful! Quilting is one of my favorite things to do, I just started about 2 years ago and truly enjoy it. I am working on a fun rag quilt right now. Happy mothers day :D
