But I got up early this morning so I could add another card showing you the emboss resist technique. Here you go:
On this card I embossed the tag, which by the way is from a sneak peek stamp set called Four Frames (wood-#123440 $20.95, clear-#123442 $15.95), that will be in the 2011-2012 Idea Book & Catalog, but you can order already along with the Paisley Prints Designer Series paper (#122367 $9.95). The bird is cut out of one of the other frame stamps from this wonderful new set also.I embossed the image in White embossing powder (#109132 $4.75) and sponged Crumb Cake over it to make it pop. Then I punched it out with the Decorative Label punch (#120907 $16.95). The circles behind the main image are from the 2 1/2" circle punch (#120906 $16.95) and the 3" circle die (#122125 $17.95). I used the Framed Tulips Textured Impressions Embossing folder (#121809 $7.95) on the card front.
The ribbon is the 1/2" Seam Binding in Crumb Cake (#122332 $6.95) and the button is also Crumb Cake and can be found in the Designer buttons Neutrals collection (#119743 $8.95). I tied a piece of Linen Thread (#104199 $4.50) on the button, and viola', it just finished the card off nicely don't you think.
