I know, another one. I hope you aren't getting sick of these. But this set is so pretty.
As a StampinUp demonstrator, every month we get a magazine called 'Stampin Success', and every month they have a new technique. Well the latest one showed a technique to make a background using the scoring blade. As you can see in the photo, there is a criss cross pattern on the Whisper White cardstock. Very easy to do.
The card itself is So Saffron. The flower is stamped in Almost Amethyst. After I stamped it onto Whisper White cardstock, I took the Stampin Write marker in the same color and colored the center part of the flower, to highlight it a little more. Then I added Dazzling Diamonds glitter. The hummingbird is stamped with Basic Black on Whisper White cardstock and colored in with the Regal Rose Stampin Write marker and cut out. Add a neutral button in black to the center of the flower and mount using dimensionals over Black Gingham ribbon. Add a touch to each corner with the small photo corner punched piece and add some dots using the White gel pen.
The sentiment is stamped using black, and then I sponged around the edges using black also, to highlight it.
Fun card to make!
