Beate's weekend sketch challenge

Every Friday, Beate Johns has a weekend sketch challenge. You can find her challenges on her blog Fresh & Fun. She is a wonderful stamper, and has lots of great tutorials.

Here is my entry for this weeks sketch:

A couple weeks ago on SCS, this was the color challenge and I just loved it and this was the perfect set to use these colors again on.

I used Basic Gray for the card base. Then I stamped Canvas BG on Natural White in Going Gray. Both the flower and the vase of flowers are stamped with Black Stazon on watercolor paper and colored with the Watercolor Wonder crayons. I used Yoyo Yellow and Barely Banana for the flowers, Garden Green for the leaves and stems and Basic Gray and Black for the vase. I also used the white gel pen to dot the centers of the flowers in the vase. These are both matted with Yoyo Yellow and Basic Gray.

I used the paper piercing guide and the crop-a-dile to make the dry embossed circles. Let's not forget about the bee. He is also stamped with stazon and colored with the crayons.

I stamped just the word 'Blossom' from the sentiment in the set on Yoyo Yellow and cut it out (no room for more words) and then I topped it off with some Basic Gray Taffata ribbon.

I hope you like it and thanks for stopping!
