We decided to breed our Rat Terrier and she was due this past week. Well she didn't have them and didn't have them. A gal that I work with at the nursery said she'll probably have them on Mother's Day.
Well low and behold this morning at 6:30am she had her first one. She did so good for never having puppies before. I had my worries, but she proved me wrong. And I did get to watch the other 3 be born. She even let me get in there and help her clean them off. All 4 were born by 7:30am. We got the kids up and my son got to watch the last one be born. He said it was grouse and cool at the same time.
She is such a good mother. She is very protective and it's driving the kids nuts because she won't let them get too close and she usually sleeps with my son.
There are 2 boys and 2 girls. She has a million dollar family now!
