Last stamp club till August

Last night was the last stamp club meeting for this Stampin' year. Here are the items we made:

This is using the new Fresh Cut stamp set and die-cut note cards. I wanted to use all the pieces after we punched out the flower.

First we punched out the flower and saved the pieces. We then used Always Artichoke and stamped the main image on the front of the note cards using the stamp-a-ma-jig to get good placement.

Then we took the punched out pieces and layed them on a scrap piece of paper and rolled over them with the rubber brayer and So Saffron ink. We then wove the punched pieces under and around (hope that makes sense) where they were punched from. I did not adhere them, that will be done later.

We then took the paper piercing tool and poked a hole in the center and pushed a rhinestone brad through to finish off the look.

We then took a piece of Mellow Moss and adhered it to the inside front cover of the note card. I added a little snail adhesive to the center of the piece right where the flower would be to adhere them down also.

We stamped the sentiment in Always Artichoke on Mellow Moss, punched it with the small oval and adhered it to a large oval punched piece of Always Artichoke and adhered to the front of the card.

This was a huge hit because of how easy this card was to do. Wow, the ideas are endless with this set and these notes! Remember this will be in the new Fall & Winter Idea Book & Catalog and it's die-cut!

For our second project, we made a creamsicle card. I have been seeing these everywhere and had to try one. Fun to make!

We used the Tart & Tangy set out of the Occasions mini catalog, because last night was the last time to order it.

This is a piece of Only Orange card stock cut at 4" x 5" and folded in half along the 5" side. Corner round 3 of the corners and use the Scallop circle punch for the 'teeth' bite on the other corner. Stamp the orange slice in Only Orange and stamp on Whisper White and punch with the 1 1/4" circle punch and adhere to the front of the card. I stamped 'You're Invited' on the front in Orange also. This is also a cute birthday card.

A piece of Whisper White card stock was cut 2 1/4" x 3 3/4" for the inside (to make the cream part) and that was stamped with the party information stamp. I also added an orange slice that was stamped off first. This was also corner rounded on 3 corners and punched with 'teeth' marks. Before this could be adhered to the inside of the card, the 'slot' punch was used to make to punches for the popsicle stick to stick into.

Adhere the inside Whisper White piece with dimensionals, tie a piece of Pumpkin Pie striped ribbon around the stick and viola', a very cute card.

I told my clubbers that this would make an cute and easy accent piece for a scrapbook page. It could be a single layer piece. They loved that idea! Also make it out of Green Galore for a lime flavored popsicle or Yoyo Yellow for a lemon one. Or Rose Red and the strawberry stamp or cherry stamp for a Strawberry or Cherry flavor. Try Chocolate Chip for a fudge pop! Mmmmm!

I think I will use these for my daughters birthday invitations this year. Just something fun and easy to make and get's a WOW out of everyone.

Thanks for stopping today, I hope you enjoyed these projects. Let me know what you think. More projects tomorrow with the retired Carousel notes!
