Well it's the end of the tour and I hope you found some inspiration from one of the blogs. For the last day, I decided to add a 3-D item. I'm still using the Awash with Flowers set, but just wanted to show you how versatile it is.
This is by far my favorite card. I love the more vintage look of this one. Along with the Awash with Flowers set, I used the En Francis background stamp. I also stamped the 2-steps, but made it look more watercolored by using the same color marker to fill it in. The leaves are stamped, cut out and popped up with dimensionals. The sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set and punched out with the Word Window punch. The colors used for this card are: Lavender Lace, Apricot Appeal, Certainly Celery and Basic Black.
Here is the Basket & Blooms basket made with Very Vanilla cardstock. I stamped the tulips on it, because here is Michigan these are starting to pop up out of the ground. Now that makes it feel like spring. I love how easy this basket is to put together also.
I think I will just fill with some candy and this would make a great door prize. And then that person can then pass it on with something in it.
I hope you have enjoyed the first Klompen Stampers blog tour. I'm hoping to organize another one some time this summer and hopefully will get a few more joiners. I'm glad you've visited for the last 3 days.
If you would like to book a Personal Creative Session with me in April, my calendar is filling up fast so contact me soon. Here is the special for April: 2-Step into Spring. I would love to get together with you and your friends and family and show everyone what a great time stamping is!!
Now on to Jennifer Salgat's blog.
