Catalog remake card

This card is a remake of a card from the catalog. On page 60 of the Fall/Winter IB&C, the first card on the top is a Viola card. I took this card and using different colors and a different stamp set, remade it.

I just want to show that the IB&C is a great place to find ideas. You don't have to come up with them on your own. You could make the card as is, or change it a little if you don't have that stamp set. The ideas in the catalog are easy to follow.

This card uses Kraft for the base. I cut out the opening using the coluzzle. The ring around the opening is So Saffron. I stamped the Upsy Daisy flowers on to Whisper White and sponged around them using Baja Breeze (it's hard to see). The ribbon is the 5/8" Chocolate Chip grosgrain ribbon (love this!). It is actually in 2 pieces. The smaller piece is wrapped around and taped. The other piece is wrapped and tied.

I then took the Whisper White piece, which is cut at 4" x 5 1/4", and adhered that to the inside of the front cover.

The bottom of the front cover is dry embossed using the crop-a-dile. I stamped a sentiment from the set and Viola, done! No guessing on what layout to use!
