Clutch Purse

Here is another project I showed at the seminar yesterday. I found this cute clutch on Gretchen Barrons blog, who then sent me over to Jackie Topia's blog, who created the technique called Faux Alligator skin.

This cute little clutch is made from 3 Top Note dies and one #2 Box die with the lid cut off. The technique is done by swiping the Versamark pad over the entire surface of the card stock and pouring clear embossing powder on. Before heat setting it, take your bone folder and scratch lines into the powder to resemble skin, then heat set it.

I used one of the large Grommets for the 'closure' and held done with a velcro dot. My clutch was done on Bravo Burgundy card stock.

Thanks for stopping!
